Hindu Religious Society Sewa Day Volunteers Request

by | Aug 4, 2020

Dear Devotees,

Jai Shree Krishna.

We are in 19th week of lock down and looks like that it’s not going to be sometime soon we will see normality pre lock down.  Our Mandir has been, since the beginning of lockdown, collaborating with other registered charities to support our community in this difficult time.

Our next venture is liaising with the Sewa Day charity to join in with their initiative to deliver non-perishable (long shelf life) food to Homeless centres and Food banks once a week on Thursday / Friday. To support them we are looking for volunteers with cars to help with the delivery of the food packets to these centres.  We are reaching out to you all to come forward and get involved with this charitable work.   We welcome all devotees including students with cars or any form of motor vehicles to get involved with this charitable work.   It is all for a noble cause.

This project is only for a short period starting from 6th August 2020.  If interested, please contact as soon as possible:

Mrs Indu Seth (President)         07887870121
Ms Namratta Bedi (Secretary)   07855760696

We wish you and your family are keeping safe and healthy in these testing time.
